2023 Ford Mach-e vs Honda Prologue

Inside, the Mustang Mach-E treats you to upscale seating, with faux-leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. Climbing the trim levels only means more luxury, with driver’s seat memory settings, heated front seats, and multi-color ambient lighting. All but the base model include a panoramic glass roof.

We’re not sure how the Honda Prologue will be equipped, unfortunately, though we expect a very nicely equipped cabin. In promo shots, the cabin features a panoramic sunroof and a clean-cut design. When we know more, we’ll update this category accordingly!

We expect the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E and the Honda Prologue to deliver very similar lists of standard (and optional) tech features. We know that the Mustang Mach-E will come standard with a 15.5-inch infotainment touchscreen, built-in navigation, and a wireless smartphone charging pad. Standard safety aids include blind-spot monitoring, frontal collision mitigation, and adaptive cruise control. Although Honda has its work cut out for it, we expect the Prologue to be equally accommodating!

If you’re shopping for speed and agility, you’re going to need the Mustang Mach-E. This crossover EV might run on electricity alone, but it does so in style. Battery range and speed vary depending on which trim model you choose. For example, the GT Performance Edition is the fastest option, zooming from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. And the California Route 1 helps you travel the furthest, with a 312-mile battery range.

As of this writing, we don’t know anything about the 2024 Honda Prologue’s powertrain specifications. It will feature the Ultium battery pack, which Honda designed in partnership with General Motors, so it will likely deliver between 250 and 320 miles of driving range.

If you have your heart set on the Honda Prologue, you’re going to be waiting a while. Since it’s a 2024 model, it probably won’t be available until late next year, in fall of 2023. Because we still don’t know much about this upcoming EV, though, we can’t even say if it’s worth the wait
